Frequently Asked Questions

    • Business registration takes less than a minute and generates a unique Practice ID.

    • Wealth Advisers register using their personal details and the Practice ID, linking them to your business.

    • Each Wealth Adviser receives their own dashboard to invite clients and track activity.

    • Clients receive a personalised invitation and complete the 15-minute questionnaire via a secure link.

    • The Wealth Adviser is notified by email once the questionnaire is completed and the profile is ready for viewing.

    • The platform includes two dashboards: Business Dashboard (company-wide view, Adviser management, 2FA, profile storage) and Wealth Adviser Dashboard (client invitations, tracking, profile viewing).

    • The initial registration creates the Primary Business Registration with access to the Business Dashboard.

    • If a Wealth Adviser completes the initial registration, they can toggle between both dashboards.

    • Clients do not have a web portal. The only client output is the Investor DNA® Profile delivered via their Wealth Adviser.

    • Four core sections always appear: Investor Signature Chart, Construct Scores, Profile Synopsis, and Investor Portrait.

    • The remaining major subject sections can be deselected to align with your existing value proposition or signature processes.

    • Deselections are controlled centrally via the Business Dashboard and apply practice-wide.

    • Customisation is not available at the individual Wealth Adviser level.

    • Most businesses utilise the full profile (default setting), as it typically complements and validates existing advice processes.

    • Clients do not receive the profile directly; it is delivered to the Wealth Adviser only.

    • The Wealth Adviser receives an email once the client completes the questionnaire and the profile is ready.

    • The Investor DNA® Profile is provided as a PDF accessible from the Wealth Adviser Dashboard.

    • The profile can be viewed online or printed as a hard copy for client meetings (recommended).

    • Wealth Advisers conduct a debriefing session to explore insights, implications, and practical applications.

    • Investor DNA® provides a holistic behavioural profile covering risk, biases, values, ESG preferences, communication/learning style, client expectations.

    • The questionnaire’s depth produces a more accurate, nuanced, and personalised client profile with greater validity, reliability and predictability.

    • This provides the client with a deep understanding of their motivations, behavioural patterns, and potential biases and thinking traps.

    • The process is deeper and more human than traditional risk and goals processes.

    • In turn this strengthens trust and elevates Wealth Adviser–client conversations through greater clarity and emotional resonance.

    • Investor DNA® delivers a multi-dimensional, evidence-based risk assessment aligned with ASIC expectations (RG 175, RG 244).

    • Supports a Wealth Adviser’s Best Interests Duty and Appropriate Advice obligations by measuring a client's risk appetite, risk tolerance, risk capacity, and required risk. It also measures a client's Sensitivity to Loss, the intervening variable that determines their behavioural threshold (tipping point) where a client feels compelled to take corrective action when markets dip. 

    • Enhances the Wealth Adviser’s ability to form a reasonable basis for advice by uncovering behavioural drivers.

    • Produces a clear, auditable record of the risk-profiling process, reducing remediation and compliance risk.
